Update v005n Status : LIVETo test -Added a nwsync server : it contains custom baseitems.2da and domains.2da files. -Shifter weapons and puissant : -All permanent properties are merged while shifting -Temporary properties from a focused weapon or same weapon used by shifted form : merge of all temporary properties, including puissant bonuses. -Temporary properties from an unfocused weapon : merge only damages from non puissant bonuses. If it works as intended, I'll do the same for gloves. -added back the cleric domains from this update threetownsboard.boards.net/thread/995/new-cleric-domains?page=1&scrollTo=9182. No need to add the domains.2da file in your override folder, nwsync takes care of it for you. -upgraded ball of lightning spell : base damage is now 3d6 for each ball instead of 1d6 -added missing dyes -fixed some typos Coming -barbarians rage upgrade Can you log to the test server and test these changes please ? Let me know if you need anything (weapon or else) for the tests. Thank you.
EDIT : if nwsync fails for some reason you can download the file manually from here nwsync.3t.servegame.org/3tee-v005n.hak and put it there : C:\Users\your-user-name\Documents\Neverwinter Nights\hak

I did a quick test of puissant on my druid and the positive damage is not coming through on any of the shapes I tested (earth, fire, water elementals and bear and boar shapes), however I have weapon focus and imp crit feats in unarmed and spear but am wielding a handaxe before I shift, so I thick technically it shouldn't work, but the damage shows on my character sheet.
Am I correct in thinking that if I had my weapon focus in dagger and wielded a dagger before shifting that I should get the bonus when shifted?
Edit: I went back and equipped a spear and tried again and the positive damage is working, so I can confirm on focused damage is coming through. So shifters will need to focus the weapon they are wielding pre-shift to get the damage.

Ball lightning works fine. Sad to see it changed but works as intended.

So shifters will need to focus the weapon they are wielding pre-shift to get the damage. To benefit from the puissant damage the weapon has to be focused. If your handaxe is unfocused, then you will only get the permanent properties from it, and temporary damage like flame weapon.

So i'm a little confused, so now shifters have to have the focus in the actual wep that is in your hand otherwise puis won't work? focus or unfocused?
Before, if the shape was unarmed, then for focus puis you would take wf/ic/ewf in unarmed and one other wep. For unfocused puis you would take wf/ewf in any 2 weps as long as they weren't unarmed, but you would still the unarmed ic and ic in the other wep you had a focus in.
Now if I am understanding it correctly, you actually have to have the focus in the wep in your hand to get focus puis? and then unfocus puis no longer exists (which is fine I guess)

Unfocus weapon puissant bonus will not merge when shifted. Puissant bonus from focused weapons will. Does that answer the questions ?
Note that when using claws, the bonuses are not in the character sheet, but they are displayed in the combat logs.

Nice, that prevents the insane damage from unfocussed puissant for weapons (after shifting) you actually have all the focusses for.

No, Findell, it doesn't answer my question, but I will probably go test just to see for myself what's what...

No, Findell, it doesn't answer my question, but I will probably go test just to see for myself what's what... You have to be focused in the weapon your character is holding before you shapeshift.

I talked with Taroc today about this puissant focused change.
For Iron golem builds the conculsion is that you need feats kama for iron golem, but since there is no kama yet in the module you should hold off making an iron golem.
I guess stone golem is ok as thats greatsword feats. And undarmed for flesh golem but no one builds those.
So if you have feats greatsword for puissant focused then how to hold a greatsword and shield to shift. You cant.
I think its a very big ac and shield stat nerf to stone golem to support puissant focused greatsword.

I don't think this is the case, you just need to focus in a weapon and wield it, your shape's weapon doesn't matter anymore. So if you take wf/ewf/imp crit in dagger and sickle, as long as your character is holding a dagger or sickle any shape you use will have the focused dmg bonus.

ok so for Stone Golem. Take ewf greatsword and ewf sickle. Hold sickle and shield. puissant sickle and shift. Now your shifted with greatsword but its focused puissant carried over. got it.
This means you got to pick what t11 item you want to use (sickle, dagger etc) for shifters to take the weapon feats for it and shift with it. Before it was flexible with unfocused.

This sounds like the reverse of what you had to do before. You'd take wf and imp crit in the weapon your shape wields but you'd hold a different weapon to apply puissant. You'd get unfocused damage then shift and get focused ab. Now you do the opposite. Thanks for clarifying.
