Thought this was an interesting idea.
These are the options I know. I can add more if people can think of more.
Barbarian Bard Caster golem / elemental Trappers Shadowdancing weapon users / Rangers Pale masters Fighters/Paladins/Dwarven Defenders/Champions/Blackguards/Monks/Fighter clerics/Weapon Masters - aka warriors
Archers Raks Risens
Here is my ranking.
1.) Caster 2.) golem / elemental 3.) Pale master 4.) Barbarian 5.) Bard 6.) Risens
7.) Archers
8.) Warriors
9.) Raks
I don't have enough experience with trappers or shadowdancing weapon users. I'll put them last but feel free to correct me if you think trappers or shadowdancing weapon users / rangers can farm something well.
10.) Trappers 11.) Shadowdancing weapon users / Rangers

Okay so people have asked me my criteria so to clarify I meant about the most useful build types for endgame.

Personally, I rate my iron golem (ac based) as my most useful endgame build, it soloes trighton and forges with ease, I have also farmed lost dungeons and darkmoor with it, and even golems is fine. (haven't really tried coj)
Air ele is a great endgame build for many areas but I just never really got into it. Other than that my barbs, either pure or pm (and soon an rdd DC version) can also do a lot endgame.
As most of you know, I don't play casters, it's just too much thinking and strategizing for me but for the masters amongst you, they can also do lots of endgame content, and fast, and of course, the bard/curser can do a lot endgame.

I assume you're talking about fully geared characters. I mean T11s make a massive difference. The player also make a difference, as psv said he doesn't enjoy casters so he may not play one as effective as someone who enjoys playing one.
Anyway from my experience
With a gsanc cloak and good DR gear a bard curser is the most effective in my eyes for farming most areas however the new token areas are changing things.
Caster second
Air ele third
Risen fourth
Haven't played others in a long time so can't comment

I don't get it. It seems screamingly obvious to me that the iron golem psv has is the bees knees. Has none of the elly issues, and several advantages. Seems like a fairly open/shut case to me. (That being said, #exalted4lyfe).
- I get it though. It's cause that [family server] shape is basically confidential. No one knows about it. I swear, if PSV posted a build tomorrow, there'd be 30 of em by next weekend.

I was assuming that the golem does very well because of the exceptional gear it is using.

This was suggested to me, as well. It's just not true. Yeah, you won't get 97 ac without +7 boots or a phase ammy, you'll be struggling along with only 94. And we all know, that's simply impossible to survive with ^^

I think caster is most versatile thus best, with my wizard I can solo almost anywhere if I just focus on it. The only place that is killer is forge sanctum, but there's where a cleric can succeed with ease. Elemental / high AC shifters kick ass in any place also, but I have no experience with them - but shifting in and out of shape is always a big minus for me from party perspective. A caster can kill 20 enemies in matter of seconds but elemental has to go 1 by 1 - even both would get same result elemental is overall more durable.

Too much heat and too many pillars! ^^ Gonna keep trying, though!

For my trapper I could farm golems the first map from level 30 and farmed heavy I also farmed Mano at level 23 all typical areas like slums shipyard city of stones and mushroom . Lost dungeon and boss But is now harder due to diamond so need to get the traps down before hand and keep a summon 9 to tank it . Grubs . coj breeding chamber drow finale . forge guard room and down to shards of fire from guard room. And can also farm trighton city center .I can now also farm dark moor . Trapper was one of the easiest toons I ever levelled because I can even farm giant ogres not the breakers at level 14 . Another area that I could farm was the 2 mino gates up to Mano gate back when the server had heavy traffic I would stay hidden and wink myself into Mano when someone opened the door . I also can solo the portal as a trapper u need around level 20 to 21 become very comfortable but from level 15 you can start to solo it . All you need to do is prepare for the areas just like a wizard would and have your traps drones scrolls you need and summons ready and that is it . I think my trapper and wizard was the 2 easiest toons I ever levelled with barbarian being the 3rd. 4th was a heavy xbowyer rogue sd fighter with pussiant. This also suits my play style learning the area and which supplies I need to beat them .
You can even solo unleks widget and beholders an area where sds can struggle a lot . Axtually you can also solo monk cave at pirates and pirates too but have to watch out for the Druid there as high dc for the level you would’ve in pirates at around 26 or so
