So if say I reply 1 min before 8 and another someone still sneaks in after that, this other someone would win the auction? (just for my clarity) Oh, and 25 mil for #7. |

Yes for the sneak bid, unless you know a fair rule ?
I could say that every bidder has to have declared at least one bid 10 mins before 20:00GMT, or said differently : I'll not accept new bidders after 19:50 GMT.

Honestly Findell, I would just say, as long as the bidding continues, let it keep going. (and make a rule that if a bid has not been made after an hour of the last bid AFTER the auction is officially over, then that bidder wins, but as long as bids keep coming in within at max an hour of each other, let it run it's course.... just my suggestion, hehe)

No cut it off let people put in a sneak bid they are comfortable with so you get the max for your item everyone is free to bid in the last few mins of its at 15 and you are willing to pay 100 out that in if the next bid is 20 million then maybe the fair rule is you only have to pay your bid or 25% more then the previous bid whichever is the lessor
