*There is a loud noise coming from the lobby* *women and children are heard crying and screaming* *a tall beast of a man holding a scythe stands at the front of the group* * Lady Hazel approaches, looks back and forth at the mob* why are you here? *the large man approaches* I am Lothar. *Motions to his group* we are the Hill People. *He bows* *she scans the group again then trains Her eyes upon Lothar* So why are you here? *Lothar pauses a brief momnet and takes a deep breath* we have come because an evil brews in our lands. Long have the Hill People hunted the woods near mirinar. An evil festers there again. I have decided to bring my tribe to the walled city if you will provide protection for my people if I swear fealty to the Guardians of the towns. What say you? *Stares at Lady Hazel*.....

Hazel looked around the families crowding the Guardians Lobby, she could see the signs of hard and difficult travel. The wounded among the warriors of the tribe and the haunted look in the eyes of the children clutched in mothers arms. Her eyes moved on to study their leader. Tall, well armed and calm. "You were the one that sent me those messengers were you not?"
The large man nodded in a crisp manner.
"and you know what we stand for and whom we oppose?"
Another crisp nodded.
Hazel stared at the Warrior in front of her thoughtfully, she could detect no falsehood. Turning briskly to one of the guards lining the lobby she gestured him over. "Go speak to the chamberlain, tell him to prepare Quarters for Lord Lothar's men and temporary quarters for their families. Tell him that proper accommodation will need to be prepared shortly." She turned back to the large warrior in front of her and their eyes locked, Lothar was unprepared for the hardened, unwavering look. His own eyes widening at the dangerous expression that had creeped over Hazel's face. "I sent a squad to check out the area after your warning, none returned..." Guardsmen and servants were already bustling into the room, much noise filled the hall, their eyes still locked and in a soft voice that only Lothar could possibly hear, a voice terrifyingly different from the expression that accompanied it. "I WILL do what is required to defend our people... and you shall aid me"
