I dont think its a bug but how it was in diamond.
That happened a lot in 3t diamond for end game with banish/dismissal/wof/dispells.
Summons buffs easily get dispelled with area Mords or Greater Dispell on area. Better if you have high wisdom or high caster levels to make the save.
I cant recall if Mords also insta kills summons if directly targeted.
I recall not playing PM any more as it happens too much.
Would be better if dispells and banishements have a gradual progression where pets get stunned/held/dominated then completly banished instead of the insta delete effect.

I did change some of the code to try to make summons undispellable. Players said they was still being dispelled. I asked about Banish and Dismissal and screen shots. Never heard a another word if I remember right. So no idea if that code change worked or if people just gave up looking at it.

For the undispellable code change, was that in the 1.69 version (that's what we're calling the broken server, right?)? If so, I believe it worked, because I don't recall having so many dispelled summons, particularly early in the game and I've spent many hours following elementals around lol. The issue was in the IB stronghold on the way to Bragg and I think it was dispells, but I'll double check if it was banish or dismissal.
Also, I'm posting things that I remember being issues in the 1.69 version that got fixed that are now issues again, just want to make sure I'm under the right impression for what you guys are looking for.

I have noticed flame weapon and darkfire no longer work on summons.

I think flame weapon does so long as it is not the same element that may be a default damage type of the summons. For example if you summon a fire ele and cast flame weapon with fire damage you won't see it. If you change your element to water and cast flame weapon you will. I can't say for darkfire haven't played a cleric.

Also, if it's an animal summon, I believe some of them are unarmed so cannot be buffed with flame weapon or darkfire

I just tested. Flame weapon (and darkfire, not tested) are not displayed on the minions sheet if they are using natural weapons but the damage is still added ( see the combat logs). Also it stacks with the same element as the minion.
I don't remember if you could see the damage on the sheet on 1.69.

This only happened once! But I was farming fer mine with my bard, had a bear summon and had cast invis. When invis wore off, the summon disappeared. It's as if the duration of the spell bugged on the summon because of the invis duration.
Will test again next time I'm on but has anyone else experienced this?

Caster DCs were more improved on 1.69
Spell damage was more improved on 1.69
(not sure of the numbers on these and you probably already know, but just in case)
